This is a one ACT play about the life story and accomplishments of Mrs. Fannie Lou Hamer, civil rights activist.   Little is known about Fannie Lou Hamer so God sends her back to earth from heaven to tell a young reporter about what she accomplished when she was on earth.
 
You can customize this skit to bring it all the way up to date by including current day African American politicians to make a point or to bring the case home with regards to her struggles not being in vain. 
 
Cast is Fannie Lou as an angel with wings and halo, a female reporter.
Table, two chairs, recorder and a cell phone as props.
Duration:  30 minutes
