This is a Black History Month Play. It is 3 acts described below:

ACT I –  It is in the early 1950s and 2 ladies, 2 men and two children ( girl and boy ) are in a cotton field picking cotton.  One female is very stressed out because she sees NO WAY of getting out of these ‘slave’ conditions even though we are FREE people but living like we are not.  The others tell her that FAITH is the only answer… just hold on to your FAITH…a change will come.

ACT II  – Civil Right Movement –  Rosa Parks was just arrested and the men meet at the church with Dr. Martin Luther King to vote him in as leading the Civil Rights Movement in Alabama.  This is where HOPE is born.

Act III –  LOVE is shared in this up to date scene where we see African Americans in high ranking positions in all fields.  You may customize this scene to the current year with current African Americans.   Love is emphasized and demonstrated on a national level after our struggles as a people.

The play can be done as 3 separate and distinct plays. Or can be put together to demonstrate all three aspects of FAITH, HOPE &  Love.  Each act is 10.00 each.
